In prayer this past week the Lord’s word to me has been “You are stronger in Me than you think you are!” This I have realized is a word not only to me but to His church in 2016.
As I sought the Lord on this, He impressed on me that too many have forgotten what it means to be be strong in in His Might (Ephesians 6:10). The reality in the Kingdom of God is that the weaker and more dependent on God we are, the more we are strong in Him. Paul and the writer of Hebrews knew this. Both said that out of weakness we are made strong.
It is a matter of dependence, not partial dependence, but full dependence upon God. Knowing that no matter what goes on in our lives, if we endeavor to rely fully on Him, He infuses us with His strength.
Right now, in 2016, in His mercy He is intensely training a huge number of His chosen revealing to them where they are self-reliant. You may feel like your world fell apart, and it did because His goal is total dependence upon Him! Whether it is a storm going on in our personal lives, an infirmity, or He calls us to step out of our comfort zone to minister to others for His Kingdom purposes, He is about the business of proving that our greatest victory is when we give up our ways and do it His way. When we finally say we are not able, but we know our God is able, He gives us the words and the actions that will glorify Him… He gives us His love and compassion for those He sends us to or we are sent to. He gives us His wisdom in every kind of situation.
Humility is the key. There is absolutely nothing we can do to build His Kingdom without relying upon Him. As the body of Christ embraces total God-dependence, there is a new boldness coming! In 2016, an army of God-dependent sons and daughters are going to step out of their time of testing and the temptation to give up…they will show forth whom they serve in great confidence. Doubt, unbelief, wavering, fear etc will be gone replaced by perfect love and they will be radiant ambassadors exhibiting the character and qualities of Christ Jesus their Lord.
Be encouraged! You are stronger than you think you are in Christ!
Never Give up! The Father has only GOOD in mind for you!
With love,
Rev. Cheryl
